SBC Q&A
Q: Is an SBC the same as a regular clinic?
A: Yes. Each SBC is a fully functioning medical clinic and provides the same level of care with the same services as any other clinic...with the added convenience of being on a school campus.
Q: Can you treat my child without my consent?
A: No. Even after receiving consent, we still contact the parent before treatment is provided. And, parents are always welcome to be at the visit.
Q: What about insurance?
A: We accept most all insurances, including Medicaid, CHIP, Magnolia, MS-CAN, Ambetter, and more. If you don't have insurance or not enough insurance, our Certified Application Counselors can assist you in applying for Medicaid, including helping complete eligibility and enrollment forms.
