Applications are open for the 2024 Vet Camp at Mississippi State University. The camp is for students ages 10 to 17 who are interested in becoming a veterinarian, veterinary technician, scientist, or working in an animal-focused area. Web address for more information is included in the graphic.
Any NHS juniors or seniors interested in attending the Navigating Nursing event at The W on March 1, 2024, please see or email NHS Career Coach Amy Alexander on Wednesday (January 24) to sign up. This is for any student interested in learning more about Nursing, Occupational/Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, or Public Health. You must have an 18 on your ACT to attend.
Nettleton School District will be back to school
and on regular schedule on Tuesday, January 23. All bus routes will run. If any adjustments to bus routes need to be made, bus drivers will contact parents directly. If road conditions prevent students from attending school on Tuesday, January 23, they will be excused by the parent/guardian sending a note to their child’s school.

Congratulations to Joanna Holland who was honored today as Nettleton School District’s Teacher of the Year! Joanna is a veteran teacher who teaches 3rd grade math at Nettleton Primary School. We are proud to have Mrs. Holland represent us as she moves forward in her quest for state teacher of the year!

NHS seniors recently had the opportunity to tour Toyota Motor Manufacturing MS in Blue Springs. They were taken on a tour of the facility as well as spent some time in the Experience Center.
