NHS Baseball Tryouts
2023-2024 9th - 12th Graders
Monday June 5th & Tuesday June 6th 5:00 PM
Must attend both days of tryouts
Must have an up to date physical uploaded in Dragonfly or bring a copy to tryout.
NJHS Baseball Tryouts will be in August. Dates and times will be posted at a later date.
NHS Tiger Youth Baseball Camp Dates:
June 12th, 13th & 14th
9:00 - 12:00
Registration starting at 8:30 AM on June 12th.
Graduation ready!!! Class of 2023

NHS Graduation has been moved to the gym tonight and will begin at 7pm. Ticket holders and non-ticket holders may begin entering the gym at 5:30pm. Any small child or baby who can sit in a lap does not need a ticket. There are designated seats for ticket holders and non-ticket holders. We will try to accommodate as many guests as possible.
Reminders for NHS Graduates: Refer to the information sheet you received. A copy is provided here. (If location is changed, it will be announced at breakfast prior to practice.)

NHS students who are attending vo-tech tomorrow (Friday, 5/19/23): The bus will leave at 7:30 from the parking lot. Please be on time.
Information about NHS Graduation: We are currently monitoring the weather for graduation tomorrow. We will make a final decision about the location first thing in the morning and announce it. Our contingency plan is to have graduation in the gym if necessary.
Reminder! We are having our Transition to High School Night at 5:30 pm! 8th grade parents and/or students may attend. Enter at the main doors in the high school building. We will meet in the library.

NHS Final Exam Week Schedule

Congratulations to NHS senior Andrew Malone for graduating from the Creating Your Future program at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi. The CYF program is a 15-week program that focuses on developing a highly-skilled workforce to enhance Mississippi's future. Interns spend 5 weeks at ICC Belden, then go through a 2-week orientation at Toyota, then do four 2-week rotations in different departments on the production floor.


Transition to High School Night

NHS seniors recently participated in mock interviews in their CCR class. Students interviewed with area Career Coaches and received feedback on what they did well and what to work on for future interviews.




Any parent of an Algebra I student who was unable to attend MAAP Parent Night, please come by from 3:00-5:00 today to meet with Ms. Conlee. She will be giving you some information about the Algebra I state assessment and how to help your child prepare for it.
This week in Nettleton Athletics

The U.S. History state test will be given tomorrow.

Any 11th grade parent who was unable to attend MAAP Parent Night for U.S History, please come by from 3:00-5:00 Wednesday, 4/19/23, to meet with Coach Lettieri. He will be giving you some information about the U.S. History state assessment and how to help your child prepare for it this week.
